Saggy and saggy skin is a concern for liposuction patients, since simply removing fat cannot treat poor skin elasticity in older patients. Liposuction is a great way to remove fat resistant to diet and exercise. However, the resulting saggy skin may take a while to tighten afterwards. And if it's not done the right way, it may not tighten at all, according to plastic surgeon Dr. John Rosdeutscher of NuBody Concepts Nashville, who has extensive experience in removing belly fat.
Unlike traditional liposuction, which removes fat and leaves skin saggy, laser lipo stimulates collagen growth. It makes the skin in the treatment area tighter. Studies have shown that patients who undergo the procedure experience significant fat loss and increased skin stiffness. Rather, the speaker recommended the use of laser liposuction for superficial liposuction, very close to the lower surface of the skin.
Unfortunately, these machines have been introduced primarily as marketing tools without any evidence that they are superior to standard liposuction. I had a misunderstanding that they were claiming that laser liposuction, by heating deeper tissue, would cause tissue contraction and hardening. However, most of us quickly give up superficial liposuction due to its high risk of producing irregularities and bulges. The study, which appears in Aesthetic Surgery Journal, compares SmartLipo MPX with traditional liposuction.
The first (top and bottom) underwent laser liposuction on the inner thigh, causing a burn that blistered within a few days. At this point, you can simply re-undergo a follow-up liposuction treatment, ideally combined with a skin tightening, to eliminate the fat cells that cause swelling in the upper pubic area. Lipo laser skin tightening is almost 50 percent better than the results of traditional liposuction. If you're concerned about the appearance of a FUPA after your liposuction procedure, make sure it's not just the type of post-operative swelling mentioned above.
Wearing a compression garment after the liposuction procedure is the most important part of post-operative care. However, you should be aware of the risks of any procedure you're considering, and laser liposuction comes with some special risks. Before having laser liposuction, talk to your doctor to determine if you're a good candidate for the procedure. New liposuction technologies are continuously being developed, creating more options for patients and more effective tools for plastic surgeons.
The second patient (below) also underwent laser liposuction and came to see me because of the burns I had caused on her back and because of the irregularities that there were produced.
